It's really too bad that the comics don't look quite the same finished as they do when I'm making them. When I do them up, I'm looking at versions at least twice the size of the finished product. When I'm doing the details, it is often even more than that.
Because of this, little jokes I add are sometimes so small, you can't see them in the finished comic. Take "Monks Playing Poker" for example: the fat monk's hand contains 3 cards. The ace of clubs, and then two other clubs that look like a six and a two. However, instead of the numbers "six" and "two" on their corners, they have the letters "y" and "b." This makes his hand read "A-Y-B," for "All Your Base."
Wow... Now that I put it into words, I'm really glad you can't see it in the comic. It's rather lame.
